Senior OutSystems Developer / International environment / Listed company

For our international client based in Eindhoven area, we are looking for a senior OutSystems Developer. This company is a listed company with offices and plants all over the world. As Outsystems Developer you will be working in an international environment with approximately 15 direct colleagues, consisting of developers, integration specialists and application engineers. This Applications team is a very close and hard working team, with a great balans of gender, ages and nationalities. In total, you will be working with more than 40 IT colleagues. In the organization, IT innovation is the main focus for the upcoming years. Business travels to the USA are organized on a regular basis in order to expand your knowledge in this area.

At the moment the ERP system is getting updated to the latest version. Consequently, this means that several legacy systems need to be translated into the OutSystems platform. This initial project is being outsourced, but the organization strives to get experienced colleagues on board who will maintain the platform and develop further trough new innovative projects and features. As a developer you will have the chance to become a pioneer for the company in the field of OutSystems, but also get the chance to be accompanied by your helpfull colleaugues in the USA. As a senior you will be the expert in this field and will be able to train your apprentice. Find below the specifications for this vacancy:

• Translate wishes and requirements into technical designs;
• Design and develop new software feautures and technologies, mainly in the field of logistics/planning;
• Maintainance, administration and improvement of the OutSystems platform;
• Solving issues and bugs within the software;
• Define and run test plans;
• Documentation of development and bugfixes;
• Constant improvement of the OutSystems platform and follow-up of newest innovations within this field.

• Knowledge of and multiple of years experience with OutSystems is required. Experience with other low-code platforms is not what they are looking for at the moment;
• Experience with application development (web and mobile);
• Strong knowledge of development principles and OOP / OOD;
• Strong knowledge of the English language is required, Dutch proficiency is preferable as well;
• Living close to the Eindhoven area;
• Able and feeling comfortable to follow strict procedures and structure;
• Experience with SCRUM is preferable;
